Es el cuerpo un medio y una extensión de una pieza natural para expresar conceptos e ideas, comer, vivir, convivir, envejecer, nacer y perdurar es parte del contexto que desarrollo como artista, es mi cuerpo perecedero el que me vincula con el arte, el registro tanto en pintura como en acción performática se genera a través de las vivencias que se generan en ese espacio en donde todos estamos y las cosas que a todos nos relacionan. Es el cuerpo material con fecha de caducidad el cual encierra mis acciones, soy consciente de la muerte desde el primer momento que fue encañonada por una arma, fue la violencia la que me dio plenitud vivencial, la paradoja entre mejor vivir, y vivir mejor está dentro de la misma estética de mi cuerpo, su finalidad, su término, la contemplación del cuerpo inerte, la expectativa duracional de la vida, el simple hecho de aceptar el fin de cada uno, es parte de las metáforas de esta pieza.
Tatuarme el texto (1978- ) es simplemente una formalización del destino, estar conciente del tiempo que se entreteje cada dÃa con las vivencias que le corresponden a mi conciencia, es hacerlo textual es un recordatorio de aceptación a la vida pero también a la muerte, vivir es hermoso y morir también lo será, donar mi cuerpo para que sea intervenido por otros, ese cuerpo que será ya ajeno a mi, en donde será una coraza a punto de ser despojo le podrá permitir a otros entender mi vida, mi participación en este mundo y la pertinencia del otro, es mi cuerpo un lienzo para todo aquél que lo desee, sin duda tendrá que vivir más que yo.
Este proyecto nace de la participación de CUERPOS ENCONTRADOS, encuentro de performance, el cual se fundamenta en: El cuerpo es, actualmente en México, un lugar en pugna. La amable sonrisa esconde la amenaza del nefasto entramado de narcotráfico y polÃtica, donde la vida es despojada de todo su valor. Este es el contexto que ve desplegarse a un cuerpo sometido, mientras tenga vida, al disciplinamiento de las instituciones médicas, familiares, educativas, laborales y religiosas. Dicho cuerpo sujetado al poder -convertido en sujeto-, puede también rebelarse desde la intimidad imperceptible del autoconocimiento, la expresión, el desmontaje de sus ataduras, la mÃstica, la conexión con otros cuerpos y la apropiación de la urbe en registros que escapen, mientras son accionados, al lenguaje de quienes amenazan y someten. Cuerpos Encontrados invita a artistas de Monterrey a crear nuevos y reales modos de existir y vincularse, recuperando la ciudad que nos fue despojada.

This project stems from the participation of bodies found, meeting of performance, which is based on: the body is currently in Mexico, a place in struggle.
